Life insurance helps preserve peace of mind, by providing your families with financial protection in the event of an employee’s death. KV Pharmaceutical provides employees with “core” or basic life insurance coverage at no cost. In addition, employees may choose to purchase additional optional life insurance.
KV Pharmaceutical provides employees and their families with additional protection in the form of accidental death and dismemberment insurance. This insurance pays a benefit to a beneficiary if an employee dies as a result of an accident. This is paid in addition to any benefit paid by life insurance. Additionally, our AD&D insurance pays benefits if a covered person suffers certain serious injuries as a result of an accident.
Our Employee Incentive Stock Option Plan allows eligible employees to directly share in the success of KV Pharmaceutical. Employees are rewarded with stock options at the Company’s discretion. Stock options may be offered to existing employees at all levels on the basis of merit, as a reward for exceptional performance. Stock options may also be offered to select new hires in anticipation of the key contributions that certain employees are expected to make.
